How We Do It
Service. We provide service to our Residents that is unprecedented
in our industry. Offering twenty-four hour per day maintenance and
security personnel, free on-line bill payment, an innovative and user
friendly website, a full service and highly trained staff and office
locations across Kentucky that provide local and convenient service to
all our Residents.
Innovation. By operating under a dynamic and innovative business
model we are able to grow and expand exponentially and change our
business practices regularly without the challenges and setbacks
normally experienced in a rapidly growing enterprise. Our financial,
managerial and renovation philosophies are pioneering our industry into
a new age in the Multi-Family Housing Market.
Quality. An essential part of our business model is the purchase of
property that is in dire financial and physical condition. Through our
renovations and improvements we are able to greatly appreciate these
properties, however, the “Rednour” name and all that it encompasses
brings about a different type of renovation. Through the implementation
of our unique and innovative financial and property management
philosophies we are able to not only improve the physical but the
managerial and financial abilities of the holdings that we acquire and
greatly increase their overall quality and value.
Community. This company is built on an ideal of community service.
We constantly strive to build confidence in our brand by giving back to
our communities through charitable giving, community activities,
sponsorships, special programs and the improvements in the quality and

Rednour Properties is more than a company, a brand or
an entity. We are an ideal that brings together a dedication to
community, innovation and service creating confidence and recognition
which will continue to lead to a successful and profitable enterprise.

Ritchie Rednour began his real estate endeavors in
1997 in his home town of Monticello, Kentucky. At only seventeen years
old he purchased a 1954 singlewide mobile home and leased a lot to put
it on. Though he received doubts and discouragement from friends and
family about his plans he remained motivated from years of growing up in
poverty. After emptying a savings account that held years of savings he
was able to renovate the mobile home and placed the lot he had leased
under land contract to purchase. After only twelve months of leasing the
home he had completely paid off both the mobile home and the lot, owning
them free and clear.
Using the mobile home and lot as collateral he was
then able to purchase the four connecting homes and lots. It was at this
point that he discovered the power of using property as leverage and he
began to grow from there. Only fourteen months after paying off his
first mobile home and lot Ritchie had grown his new company to include
127 mobile homes, six single family houses, a commercial building,
fourteen lake cabins, a transient rental business and four prime lake
lots.
At this point Ritchie was attending
Eastern
Kentucky
University
where he was studying Political Science and living in Richmond, Kentucky.
Though he continued to own and manage his properties in Monticello he never seemed to be anything
other than a small time operation.
Then, shortly after college Ritchie met Cherish Charles who
would, in the summer of 2003 become his wife.
With her leadership and guidance together they were able to lay
the foundation of which Rednour Properties stands firmly today!
With
their company and futures in mind they made their first purchase.
It was this four-plex in
Richmond
Kentucky that became their first
home together. As they built
their lives together so to did they build their company.
This new direction led to the first large multifamily property
acquisition leading them closer to Cherish’s roots in Hazel Green
Kentucky. This mile stone purchase of the 24 unit Clay City Apartment
Complex in Clay City became the new home of Rednour Properties and it
was this purchase that began the exponential growth of the company.
With this continued growth the company quickly
outgrew the confined spaces at Clay City Apartments so in 2005 Rednour
Properties moved from its original home to the newly renovated Corporate
Office Location at 4418 Main Street. From here Rednour Properties, LLC
and its subsidiary holding companies have enjoyed exponential growth.
With more than 2500 rental units, seven regional leasing offices, and
more than 70 full time management, security, maintenance and renovation
personnel Rednour Properties has become what is now one of the largest
real estate holding and property management companies in Kentucky.
